Preparing the K42 kernel source

• Download the k42 source tree:
  cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@kcvs.watson.ibm.com:/u/kitchawa/cvsroot -z 6 co kitchsrc


• Make changes to apply TAMU site in kitchsrc directory:
  a) TAMU site-specific changes
  b) Copy MakePaths.proto as Make.paths and make these changes


• Compile k42 source
  gmake full_snapshot

Running K42

• Change to powerpc/fullDeb/os directory


• Reboot a victim machine (e.g. nyc.cs.tamu.edu)
  k42console -m nyc -R
